· FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. recalled some domestic Audi Q5 and imported Audi Q5/SQ5 cars

Recently, FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to recall the following vehicles from May 15, 2017, for a total of 572,422 vehicles:
(1) Some domestic Audi Q5 series cars produced between October 9, 2010 and August 11, 2016, totaling 556,196 vehicles;
(II) Part of the imported Audi Q5/SQ5 series cars produced between June 22, 2010 and July 26, 2016, totaling 16,226 vehicles.
In some vehicles within the scope of the recall, when the panoramic sunroof drainage system fails, rainwater may flow along the canopy to the position of the safety curtain, causing corrosion of the safety curtain tank. In extreme cases, the safety curtain tank may be generated. Accidental rupture, there is a safety hazard. FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. will check the water intake at the top and the corrosion of the air curtain tank on the surface of the vehicle for free. The vehicle will be corroded or replaced with a safety curtain according to the corrosion conditions to eliminate safety hazards.
